Scientific Methods to Treat Your Unwanted Stretch Marks

We meet a lot of people in our life. Because of this we keep on trying new things to keep ourselves up to date so that we can make most of the heads turn around on us. At times we also come across certain things that can actually change our looks. Most of these defects can differ from one another but there is nothing that is more ordinary than a stretch mark.

These stretch marks are generally made when the collagen skin divides its layer. This breakage generally occurs when our skin is trying to stretch to a much greater extent in a very short period of time. Most of the stretch marks are generally created at the time of pregnancy or at the time when certain individuals acquire weight too past or even when the skin tissue splits. Stretch marks are also very common among teenagers when they hit the adolescence and their body may simply be going through an uncontrolled growth spurt. Both men and women can only deal with most of these stretch marks only to a certain degree. In most of the people these marks can be hidden but in some they may be more visible.

Some of them may even find most of these stretch marks hidden in their arms, legs, stomach and sometimes even near breasts. These stretch marks also have a tendency to grow and spread to a much larger area sometimes even covering most of the body parts. They may even be distinct in color starting from light to dark purple. Most of the individuals who have developed these ugly looking stretch marks do whatever they can to get rid of them. They simply try to find treatments to diminish them or even to treat them.

There are a number of lotions and creams available in the market that can actually help reduce these stretch marks but only to a certain extent. One can even try surgery to get rid of one of those stretch marks, but what if it has covered most of the body part? Surgery is just not possible in most of the cases. Most of the lotions and stretch mark creams may not even prove helpful in removing these stretch marks.

Most of the creams simply stiffen the skin and try to diminish these stretch marks. So the easiest way to get rid of these marks is to start out an early treatment. It may become almost impossible to treat these stretch marks after months or even years of handling. So the best option would be to start at a very early stage the moment you notice them appearing. The most effect stretch mark lotions are those that are made by lanolin and vitamin E as its ingredients. Both of these are considered as being most effective on smaller stretch marks.

One could also try applying a little amount of cocoa butter on a regular basis. Cocoa butter is much more effective on stretch marks when they really are much bigger. But one has to keep in mind that he is supposed to use them on a regular basis. Some of the better ways to handle these ugly looking marks is by getting your skin stiffen. You can also try on laser treatment but that may only be an experiment that could be carried out.
