Jellylorum welcomes the up coming competing cat, Gus, The Theater Cat. He tells the tribe of his past achievements in theater and ponders how issues have changed. The following cat to make his presentation is Skimbleshanks, the Railway Cat, a cat who firmly believes in order and efficiency. Macavity, the Mystery Cat, crashes the Jellicle Ball, interrupting Skimbleshanks’ presentation. Furious due to the fact he was not invited, Macavity and his cohort kidnap Aged Deuteronomy so he can not decide on the future cat to go to heaven. Rum Tum Tugger tells the Jellicle pet cats that they must summon Mr. Mistoffelees, the Magical Cat, to ensure that he can bring back Outdated Deuteronomy. But previous to anyone has a possibility to call him, Mr. Mistoffeles appears magically just before the Jellicle pet cats. And without having very much ado he produces Older Deutoronomy, for the joy of all the kitties. Next in Cats The Musical Grizabella crashes the ball 1 a lot more time. She confronts the tribe and asks them to give her a second chance. She tells them that her dream would be to re-live the happy times she enjoyed when she was young and beautiful (Memory). Following listening to Grizabella, Older Deuteronomy announces that he has chosen the cat who will go to heaven. The lucky cat is Grizabella. Outdated Deutoronomy accompanies her on a flying tire for the "Heaviside Layer", a place beyond the Jellicle Moon plus the Russell Hotel (The Journey on the Heaviside Layer). With that, the Jellicle Ball is over. Outdated Deuteronomy addresses the Jellicle pet cats and reminds them of their unique responsibilities and privileges as pet cats (The Ad-dressing of Kitties). The Jellicle kitties finally return to their homes and the junkyard is left empty and silent. Enjoy Cats The Musical
