A Watch Powered By Kinetic Energy: J Springs Seiko

There are many watch manufacturers making new watch lines every year. They improve on previous designs and add new features to the next line of watches. One such company is Seiko. Seiko manufacturers the J.Springs line of watches. Seiko is renowned worldwide. The watches are very popular with many groups of people. They are worn at the office, to parties, among friends or wherever you may happen to be located. The Traveler's rotating bezel is carefully operated by the upper crown on the left of the watch head. It can be set to any of these major worldwide cities: London, Cairo, Dubai, Hong Kong, Sydney, Wellington, Honolulu, Los Angeles, Chicago, Caracas, Rome/Paris, Moscow, Karachi, and many more. In the tradition of the rugged traveler, the watch is water resistant to 100 meters.

This watch also features a 21-jewel self winding technology. The watch runs on the kinetic energy of regular hand movements. Sub-dials on the face help you divide up hours, minutes and seconds into understandable units. Many watch faces do not feature any kind of sub dials.

The timepiece employ's analog quartz movement, enabling time keeping accuracy. Various watches made by this company were worn by the cinematic James Bond 007 in the four films starring Roger Moore which were The Spy Who Loved Me, Moonraker, For Your Eyes Only, and Octopussy. Also this watch was worn by Sean Connery in the 1983 Bond film Never Say Never Again. Also worn by Jason Bourne in the book "The Bourne Identity" by Robert Ludlum. The watch has been in many other movies as well. It is a popular time piece among writers who dress their fictional characters in these watches as a way to portray wealth and importance.

The J in J.Springs stands for Japan, and the spring refers to the source of power. The design collections offer a wide selection of watches. Some watches are powered by batteries or even the sun. But these watches are powered by the spring mechanism housed inside. The springs convert kinetic energy into usable energy for the watch.

Many different people wear the watch on many different occasions. Watches are widely used across the world. Whether you are trying to look nice at the office, adding a watch as an accessory to your wardrobe, or even just going out on, for a night on the town watches can be worn anytime to complete your look.
